ZMR NOMINATIONS: AERIAL VIEWS
Aerial Views received the ZMR Broadcasters Album of the Year and Best Acoustic Instrumental Album of the Year nominations… Thank you to the ZMR broadcasters for believing in the albums message and music. It truly takes a village to get a record production from tune on the guitar to being broadcast worldwide. Here is part of the that village:

An ideal evening for a beach concert, my friend and author John Lipscomb had me perform for a private event just outside his beachfront house near Del Rey, FLA. Performing songs from my award winning release Open Waters was a special treat. Dolphin Song, Sea of Joni, Coming About had a particular significance that evening.

The first round of promotions has started to get Aerial Views out to the world. I spent the month of November mailing out promo kits to a list of approx. 180 radio stations across the globe. Aerial Views On Track
September was a non stop 24/7. Constant cataloging, registering, filling for ISRC codes, uploading to distributor sites and a lot of the technical details behind creating an album of music. What a beautiful body of work Aerial Views turned out to be.
WAA and AMW conferences attended online. Quite a difference from the real deal.

Arrived to a beautiful tracking space in Woodstock… they also have a very cool housing facility. Fender Rhodes pianos everywhere… the converted church has a natural reverb that Tom was totally digging… we tracked drums, bass and percussion on day one and day two…

Very intense week in the “hot seat” … Will and Tom have the highest standards which I very much appreciate… my training with Imrat Khan was a very good prep for this kind of music making… Had a whole lot of fun and some intense tracking to get all twelve tunes finishihed inside of one week…

PREMIERED: EAGLE MOUNTAIN ORCHESTRAL SUITE
Eagle Mountain Suite premiered in its entirety by the University City Orchestra at Desmond Hall, Saint Louis, MO. Written for full Orchestra and two harps, the score features three compositions from my 2016 release On Eagle Mountain; Eagle Mountain, Colorado Missouri and Moon Song.
