ZMR BEST CONTEMPORARY INSTRUMENTAL ALBUM & 3 GLOBAL MUSIC AWARDS

OPEN WATERS: ZMR 2020 Best Contemporary Instrumental Album

A huge surprise, was not expecting this at all! A huge shout out to LAZZ Promotions for all the efforts they put forth to gain this win. Open Waters was the only album in the history of the ZMR’s to over ride an Album Of The Year win (FLOW) listed in the same category(FLOW was nominated for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album). The runner ups to this years category included Phil Keagy, Jill Haily and FLOW among others.

I really missed not being with this community as I go to NOLA each year for this event. Always a lot of fun… Anyway, it was online and they played Moon Song, a video I shot with the New Horizons Ensemble at Shea Theater, Turner Falls Mass. which was a kind of triple whammy exposure to the community at large. They loved Lola, Bryan and it was a first time opportunity to view some of the key players at Imaginary Roads studio (Michael Manring, Jeff Haynes, Premik Tubbs) in action as they performed Moon Song beautifully.
